Geranium Rose Compound

A blend of geranium and rose aromatic constituents. This is a compound; not an essential oil.

When you are talking about true essential oils, there is Geranium oil and then there is Rose oil, the two should not be confused and the terms really should not be combined together.  People use the term "Rose Geranium" or "Geranium Rose" to refer to the oil coming from Pelargonium roseum (look at the essential oil above) which comes from Madagascar (and a few other places) and is chemically very similar to P. graveolens (a true Geranium oil) but typically has a slightly rosier scent.  So if you want to purchase a true geranium oil check to be sure that you are not being sold a compound as an essential oil.  Geranium Rose Compound has no botanical name.

Aside from all this the aroma of the compound is excellent and very floral.  It's great for soaps, candles, or put some in your diffuser.
